Lonely Musings

Shiver

Lie to me now everyone does

a rose dries up mostly to black.

Lost but now I have found doves

in a river before life it attacks.

Tear me away my wounds deep

take away sleep and I can not laugh.

Rip them open you did steep

there’s no escaping the past.

Little terrors that come in spite

blue in ridges tonight in flight

breaks my heart my own fate

it’s alright could be in my might.

I don’t know how long the broad

road goes I try to flow in rivers

but the crisp teeth of terror saw

me in my own abode me shiver.
