Lonely Musings

Victory Over A Sea Of Gravity

In this way I pray and stay to say

that all is okay and remedy is a sea

of beauty from your eyes I sigh I see

from afar and we are apart but in glee.

You don’t need an arm your strong

in the storm of life in endless strife

along the edge of some sharp knife

is a place we could belong I’ll see you tonight.

That’s why I know your a victory

in my quest into the eternal pursuit

of the love we all need inside indeed

on a steed rides harmony I recruit.

I know in my head held together

by a thread I can galvanize my eyes

to realize what a chance implies

to my reasonable side and pride.

Come to me my love and say

what our souls praise and stay

for a moment of time and try to pray

just to pacify what hurts today.

Think of the hurt later in letters

to the Lord in bed by candlelight.

Think no more of macabre dark

arcs in some story you embark and
fight.

I know it’s easy to slide back to

the dark days the hurtful ways

your past creeps in and thin it grins

and with your head it plays.

But I’ve come for my darling I saw

in grandeur my icy heart it thaws;

I want tranquil pills to help kill your ill

aspect you have to dread life’s thrills.

Don’t slide back come join the pack

of family in this great unity

I see I want to be the tranquility to be

that we listen to each other breathe.

I hear you the ghosts have gone

in the mists of the hazy hills near.

So let’s dance in the mist for a chance

to think on graves with no fear.
