Lonely Musings

Memories At The Grave

Scream to oblivion you are calm,
you’ve seen charm and alarm,
and walked the earth happy daily
finding no internal harm.

See you a swift kick dose of
the tricks slick as the devil thick
you become the sun of a gun
and put him in his place quick.

Take the victories small large,
and you will find inside sides
of a mind find you your design
in this world of God’s crime.

Feel the steel and its inner zeal,
screams a child broken in the past;
he says to you now as you look
back at the things you want to last.

Ghostly phantom what life have
you given to another no one knows;
taken to the mistaken man who knew
soon after death we put on a show?

Taken lives consume and memories
sweep the halls of sinews well past
while we daydream of who we could be
if we could erase the past so fast.
