Calamity persuades the thoughtful
though reality is awful.
Coffins full of grief they will be brief
the business of death is costful.
Tear native lands asunder,
thunder shelters none when water runs
full of blood of innocent plunder
that sucks us dry in large sums.
Feel this air up here on a cliff,
overlooking a valley wide of change.
See this air so thin again it begins
the gift of freedom in your veins.
Oppressor oh my hurt
tells me secrets it’s a secret lit,
oh my dear man I do as I see fit;
I’ll live until I die I won’t quit.
Forward on bear the change,
that remains in us forever the same.
My name is no game see strange
is this solvent tang.
The taste of wine numbs it well,
while I express my hell my jail;
where my heart resides to tell
of its trek the affect I know a tale.
Experience has been to see sin.
Doesn’t mean I’m a better person.
I’m master of my feelings and
just the only one who hurts them.
