Lonely Musings

What A Thought Brings

One DUI blackout is a route
the devil took me down
one black night is all it took
and my knees were pinned down.

Engine shot out the back under
the chassy I was lucky a hip
was dislocated they put me under;
IVs in veins thick.

Cathader for three weeks
my knees I had to align
and recover quick I did sweet
life fell and put under a spell I see signs.

Thank God I know hell.
I fell down and found the ground
as my ribs broke I woke stitches
were made after lashed I am not sound.

I take combinations
tons of rum maybe or not
or maybe so they say
as you are born so you go I won’t rot.

I remember everything I’ve got,
good God its love but it’s not a lot
but the love that sustains my soul frought
is a heart in a land time forgot.

Of the same DNA chain
the stain is deep inside the brain
when born under stars we are
me and my beloved same.

Want it all, peace love and joy.
The world to turn fair and glare
the sun it does as it should good toy
with a mind mine is fine it’s fair.

Test me fess me give me rest,
I shall hope for all things best
to somber me as I wear an A on my chest,
I’m ALIVE in my sly cry I get a bulletproof vest.

Ducking under the thunder
the world it had here put me under.
Makes me ponder as I wonder
wonderful things this thought brings her.
