Lonely Musings

Beautiful Equations

Impose a rose I suppose,
down to the ground again
to worship why are those
cheeks melting into a grin?

I know I am amazed shine
upon meadows a bliss is this
level of thought of mine
spending time on you I miss.

I see your rosy lips slim
and your eyes gaze in mine;
so pardon a rhyme I again
want to replay this time after time.

I hear your voice hit my soul
again the burdens are on patrol
to give me cause to turn cold
so my heart won’t explode.

I see you smile again the sheen
is a glorious sight I’ve seen
in times today the world corroded
me and turned me mean.

Forgive an innocent trip
now I want to live over again.
Flippant moments aren’t awkward
now I know your name and grin.

I can not thank the Lord above
enough for such a gift today I pray
for the words that come to me
when you’re around that I say.

Sight is a poor equation
our temperance communicates
that we could find a haven
in each other’s arms we create.

The notion pulls me back again
I thank God for this day.
That after hell where I dwelt
I could put you on replay.

Revel madness I know you
and I know how you frown.
Now I know how to turn your
cheeks so red I melt down.
